Not only does Harry’s La Casa Mia serve up some of the finest Italian dishes outside of the North End, but this hidden gem located in Raynham Massachusetts also has a story.

A good backstory to our favorite restaurant, and a little history, always seems to make the experience that much better.

Owner and Chef, John Travaglione is no stranger to the restaurant business. In fact he has been around fine cooking since he was a young boy. His grandmother Miss Anna Travaglione (pictured with her son Harry; original owner of La Casa Mia restaurant and also Johns Father) opened up the well known and ever so popular Mother Anna’s Restaurant on Hanover Street in Boston’s historic North End  back in 1932. In fact Mother Anna’s was the first Italian restaurant in the North End. Now, some eighty plus years later, the recipes and traditions are carried on through numerous grandchildren and now, great grandchildren, right here at Harry’s La Casa Mia. Be sure to visit a piece of the North End right here in at Harry’s La Casa Mia located on Rt 138 in Raynham Massachusetts.
